Patty Reisen-Ottavi

Patricia obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree, magna cum laude from Iowa State University in 1988, majoring in psychology. Patty worked for several years as a Youth Care Supervisor at Hillcrest Family Services in Dubuque and as an Investigator at the Waterloo Public Defender’s Office before entering law school at the University of Iowa. Patty earned her Juris Doctor in December 1996, with honors. Patty is licensed to practice law in both Iowa and Illinois.
Prior to joining 365Advantage, Patty was an associate and then partner at the Kintzinger Law Firm, in Dubuque, practicing as a litigation attorney primarily in family, juvenile and criminal law. Patty is the Operations Director and in-house counsel for Community Incorporated, as well as the GoldPenny Project Director. The GoldPenny Project seeks to strengthen local philanthropic giving communities by providing information resources to both donors and nonprofits alike. Patty has served on numerous boards and committees over her years in Dubuque.
Patty is married to Dr. Tom Ottavi. She has three children, Nolan and Casey Reisen, and Aidan Ottavi, who keep her excessively active and happy. She also loves golf and running, and desires a sun-roof in her office. When asked about being the consigliere of 365, Patty declines to elaborate, noting "it’s business, not personal."
